1. What This Service Does

LeetOrPay is a commitment contract platform. You set a LeetCode goal, put money at stake, and we charge you if you miss your target. The purpose is motivation through loss aversion, not punishment.

2. Payment Authorization

By adding a payment method, you authorize us to charge your card when you derail (miss your goal). Charges occur within 48 hours of a confirmed derailment, following our Commitment Policy legitimacy check process.

3. Pledge Schedule

Your first miss is free ($0). After that, pledges escalate: $5 → $10 → $30 → $90 → $270, up to your chosen cap. You control the maximum you can lose per derailment.

4. Refunds

Derailment charges are generally non-refundable—that's the point. However, we cancel charges for:

Technical issues on our end
Legitimate emergencies (reply within 24 hours of derailment)

5. Account Termination

You can archive your goal or delete your account anytime. If a charge fails or you initiate a chargeback, we may suspend your account. Outstanding amounts remain due.

6. Limitations

The service is provided "as is". We're not liable for LeetCode API outages, missed notifications, or other technical issues beyond our control—though we'll always apply the legitimacy check fairly. Our liability is limited to fees you've paid in the prior 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
